He began to work as a violin maker in 1969, under the supervision of Sesto Rocchi. He has made a limited number of instruments but each of them mirror a strong commitment towards improvement. He draws his inspiration from the classic Cremonese designs. Scrupulous wood choice; alcohol-based, orange-red or bright red varnish. He presented two violins at the 1st and 2nd Cremona Triennal Competitions and took part in several editions od the Bagnacavallo Competition.
